Impro Technologies
Reliability is a key factor when selecting life safety solutions.

Impro Technologies was founded over 30 years ago and was one of the first companies in the world to use RFID for access control.
The entrepreneurial spirit of its founders resulted in Impro heading across the oceans and at the end of 2015, the company was acquired by the global ASSA ABLOY group which resulted in access to the latest global technologies and innovations for rapid adoption into our solutions. Today, Impro continues to pioneer the access control industry, whether it’s a global multinational, small business, educational facility, manufacturing or mining facility, our solutions are founded on three key principles – simplicity, convenience and security.
The Impro range comprises controllers, readers, kits, credentials and software as well as third party devices from Aperio, HID Global, Suprema, Nedap and Idemia. Impro also provides seamless integrations into complementary security products such as video management and CCTV systems, time and attendance, and identity management, among others. As for tomorrow, and our changing world, Impro has quickly adapted to global concerns and we are able to provide the solutions to safely and securely access premises with touchless access control using facial readers with built-in mask recognition, to virtual credentials on a mobile phone or long-range no-touch readers.
